Grandma Z's Guest House is happy to offer short term rental options in Alta Vista, Elma, New Hampton, Charles City, and Nashua, Iowa at reasonable rates that are based on the number of guests and the length of their stay. Guests rent an entire house, rather than just a room!
The original unit of Grandma Z's is a 3-bedroom Guest House located in Alta Vista, Iowa which is fully furnished with linens, cookware, dishes, and laundry facilities. It can comfortably sleep 9 guests with two bathrooms, a living room, a family room, a garage, a deck and a patio equipped with a charcoal grill.
"The Recker House", is located directly across the street from the original Grandma Z's in Alta Vista, Iowa. Two bedrooms are on the main floor and 3 additional bedrooms are in the basement. Each floor has a kitchen, a dining room and a living room area. A full bath plus an additional shower on the first floor, and the lower level contains a bath with a shower. There is also a patio area equipped with a charcoal grill. It can comfortably sleep 10 guests.
The "Nashua Lake House" is located on the Cedar Lake in Nashua, Iowa. This lake front property offers three bedrooms, a bath with a jetted tub, a full kitchen, a dining room and a living room. Outside you will find a charcoal grill, patio furniture and a great view of the lake. The lake front also includes a small cement dock.
"Walnut Ave Guesthouse" is located at 214 N Walnut Ave in New Hampton, Iowa. If you appreciate quality oak woodwork and floors, open staircases, and large wrap-around porches, you need to experience this property! With five bedrooms plus a fold-out couch, this property can accommodate up to 12 guests. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed. There is also a pack n play available for the little ones. There are three living room-type areas (one is equipped with a gas fireplace) on the main floor, together with a dining room, kitchen, pantry, and Washer and dryer available.
“Linn Ave Guesthouse” Located just two blocks from Mercy Hospital, Holy Family Parish/St. Joseph Catholic Church, and St. Joseph School in New Hampton, IA. It is a five-bedroom guesthouse with three bathrooms and is fully furnished. There are two king sized beds, three queen sized beds, plus the main floor couch folds out into a full-sized bed. We also stock two pack and plays should you be traveling with little ones. Whether your group numbers 2 or 12, you will find this home offers comfort and convenience at a reasonable rate.
“Elma Guest House” and “Elma Guest House, Too” are located in Elma, Iowa. These are one bedroom, one bathroom ground floor units and can sleep up to 4 people each. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom and nice pull-out sofa in the living room. They are fully equipped with two 32" wall mounted SMART TV's, DISH Network service, Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen with full size appliances. Both units are located in the same complex.
“The Charles” is located in Charles City, Iowa. The charming two-story home can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests with its four bedrooms, each equipped with a queen-sized bed plus a couch that folds out. Two sunrooms, one on each floor, will invite you to linger over your morning coffee or evening cocktail. The kitchen is equipped with full sized appliances including a gas range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator with ice maker; a nice selection of dishes and cooking utensils, too! The Cedar River is located approximately 3 blocks from the house. There is also a walking trail with work-out stations as well as a white-water kayaking course. Charles City also has two golf courses, a vintage movie theater, bowling alley, and a variety of restaurants.
All of the guesthouses are equipped with central air conditioning.
