Located at 106 N. Hilltop Ave., Alta Vista, Iowa, the main level of The Recker House ( which houses two bedrooms, two showers, fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and living room) is available for short term rentals The lower level of the house adds three additional bedrooms, an additional bathroom, kitchen area and large family room. The upper and lower levels have separate locking entrances so the house can be rented as two separate units or as one house, depending upon the amount of space that you need.

This Guest House offers a fully furnished kitchen including dishwasher, full size electric stovetop, oven and full sized refrigerator complete with ice maker. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, stemware, silverware, pots and pans and cooking utensils. The full bathroom includes a tub/shower combination. A stackable washer and dryer is located in the bath closet. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and ceiling fan with the second bedroom also equipped with a queen sized bed. A second shower is located in the second bedroom.

There is a covered patio area with patio furniture and charcoal grill on the back side of the house. The house is equipped with programable push button locks, making keys unnecessary. We can program the locks to a number that is easy for you to remember. The house has central air conditioning.

The Recker House offers a smoke free and pet free evironment. Your pet can, however, bunk in the attached garage.
